Katelyn & Nathan’s Sun-Kissed Hunter Valley Wedding
There’s something about a perfectly sunny day in the Hunter Valley that just makes everything feel like magic — and Katelyn and Nathan’s wedding was no exception. On the 12th of April, under a crystal-clear sky at the stunning White Barn Pokolbin, these two said “I do” surrounded by the people they love most.
As a Hunter Valley wedding photographer, days like this are a dream to capture. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was calm, joyful, and full of emotion. Katelyn’s I Do Crew looked effortlessly elegant in pastel blue dresses, carrying spring-inspired bouquets with vibrant pops of colour. The florals, styled by Newcastle Flower Market, added a fresh, romantic feel — soft blush, peach, and ivory tones paired with bold coral and sunny yellows.
Nathan and his crew were the perfect match in classic black suits and bow ties. I love how the timeless black look adds a touch of sophistication that will never go out of style — the perfect contrast to the softness of the bridal party’s pastel palette.
And the star of the show? Their adorable son Reagan, who completely stole hearts from the moment he appeared. His cheeky grin and tiny tux were almost too much cuteness to handle — and he brought so much warmth and personality to the day.
Their Hunter Valley wedding ceremony was heartfelt and full of laughter, beautifully officiated by Fiona Hall.
