Liz & Liam’s White Barn Wedding – Romance & Fur Babies in the Hunter Valley

On the 17th of May, Liz and Liam said “heck yes” to forever at the beautiful White Barn Pokolbin, and the weather? Well, let’s just say the rain knew better than to crash this party. It held off like a true gent, revealing a dreamy Hunter Valley sky that was all blue, bright, and absolutely drama-free.

The day started at Degen Estate, which is basically a photographer’s playground, vineyards, light-filled rooms, and just enough space to zig-zag between the couple without breaking a sweat (or a lens). Liz and Liam got ready there with their nearest and dearest, and the vibe was pure pre-wedding magic: relaxed, joyful, and full of excitement.

Now let’s talk fashion, Liz’s “I Do Crew” turned it on in flowing sage green dresses, effortlessly floaty and soft. The guys were the perfect contrast in classic black suits, looking every bit the timeless gents. The whole aesthetic? Chic with a side of Pinterest goals. And the florals? White and green perfection thanks to Quirk – Wild About Flowers. Think elegant without being fussy, and modern with just the right hint of garden party.

And yes, there were fur babies. Because honestly, what’s a wedding without a few tail wags and puppy eyes at the altar? Liz and Liam’s four-legged family members made a surprise appearance and basically stole the show (and a few hearts).

The ceremony, led by the lovely Angela Lloyd, was all the good things: emotional, sweet, and full of those little glances that say “I can’t believe I get to marry you.” With the clouds finally out of the picture, guests soaked up the sun and good vibes, while Liz and Liam made a grand entrance in a horse-drawn carriage from Prestige. Yep. Straight out of a fairytale.

As golden hour hit, we snuck away for portraits that were warm and romantic. Then it was time for cake (bless you, Mel Rose Cakes) and a dance floor that didn’t quit.
